  • Not at all! The chain is welded closed using a quick, precise spark. The welding process doesn't touch your skin.

  • Yes! Our 14k gold filled and sterling silver chains are designed for everyday wear, including showering and swimming. As with all jewellery, a little care goes a long way.

  • Absolutely. If you ever need to remove your jewellery, simply cut the small connecting jump ring with scissors or wire cutters. Keep your chain and we can weld it back on.

  • Life happens! Keep your chain and bring it back to us. In most cases, we can repair or reweld it, depending on the condition of the chain.

  • Permanent jewellery is designed for long-term wear, but it's not indestructible. How long it lasts depends on the chain you choose, your lifestyle and how it's cared for.

  • Appointments are necessary for our Matamata studio so we can set aside time just for you. Visiting us at a market or pop-up? Walk-ins are welcome!
